Wayne County Homeschoolers (WCHS) is an educational support group for homeschooling families in Wayne County, NC.

(To us non-traditional schooling includes traditional homeschooling, unschooling, virtual private schools, and virtual public schools.)

When WCHS was founded in 2015, there was a need in our area for a homeschool support group where you could feel "at home," no matter your religious beliefs or educational philosophy and WCHS was born. We strive to embrace diversity and lead our group based on the philosophy that all are welcome.

It is our desire that you will make new friends here and find not only support through our group but also opportunities to learn and grow together on your homeschooling journey. We hope to instill a sense of community through our group that supports you during your homeschooling journey.  Homeschooling is a challenging choice, and you don't have to do it alone.
